Update on Hidcote Manor Gardens visit

Val visited Hidcote Manor 14th June 2008 with the British Clematis Society and was thrilled to see the plant she returned to the garden in October 2006, C. x vedrariensis ‘Hidcote’, on sale in the shop. They looked very strong and healthy plants.
Sadly Clematis ‘Hidcote Purple’ has not yet been located, despite a world wide search. Val will be writing up her efforts to find the plant before the end of 2008.
